Most people living with chronic illness have spent years — sometimes decades — moving from one specialist to the next. Each one asking the same question: how do we get rid of these symptoms?
That question, however well-intentioned, misses something fundamental. Symptoms are not the problem. They are the body's attempt to communicate something that hasn't yet been heard. And when we spend ten years trying to silence that signal, the body does what any messenger would do when ignored — it speaks louder.
My work starts from a different premise: the body is not broken. It is trying to tell you something. When we stop fighting the symptoms and start listening to what they're pointing to — the nervous system can finally settle, the pattern can complete, and the body no longer needs to shout.
This doesn't mean chronic illness is "just in your head." It means the path out may run through the body rather than around it.

"The body speaks a language most of us were never taught to read."
Most people who find their way here have already tried a lot of things — and are exhausted from trying. They've seen the specialists, done the therapy, followed the advice. Some progress, maybe. But something is still there, still unresolved, still showing up in the body in one form or another.
It shows up as emotional patterns that years of talk therapy have circled without fully resolving. As a grief that was pushed through rather than moved through. As anxiety that lives in the chest, not the mind. As a body that feels older, stiffer, more disconnected than it should.
In all of these cases, the body is not the problem. It is carrying something that was never given the space to complete. And until it is — the pattern continues.
My work is for anyone ready to stop working around the body, and start working with it.
Under My Hands
With an academic background in Psychology and Neuroscience, I spent years trying to understand the mind–body connection—until hands-on healing work revealed the place where body and mind meet.
Drawing from Thai massage, yoga, and a trauma-informed approach to coaching, my work doesn't fit into the categories of "mind" or "body"—and that is precisely why it reaches where traditional therapy and medicine often can't.
Meet Me"I was looking for a good somatic therapist in the Sea to Sky for years and finally found her. She is excellent and able to get to the root of trauma and emotions stored in the body and release them. Way more effective than talk therapy."
